I'm so happy that we contacted Straight Edge Painting! From the first contact to the quote to the painting, the entire process was easy. Jason was very good at communicating with us on what we wanted done, and he was very prompt and efficient at his work. He painted our entire first floor including our living room, kitchen, dining room, entry way, hallway and bathroom. In addition, he painted our stairwell and hallway on the second floor. He and Austin were quick and efficient in painting the walls and trim. Jason even came back on a Saturday morning to finish up a few areas. Jason moved the furniture and put it back in place. He took great care in his work. and it showed. We are going to have him back to paint the rest of the house soon. We highly recommend Straight Edge Painting!

Jason is a complete professional and great exterior painter. He painted some window shutters and ended up also doing some door frames and my front door. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He was the best priced and went above and beyond in his work. I am contemplating using him for a new home we are contemplating purchasing that needs kitchen cabinets and a deck painted.
I am very impressed by Straight Edge Painting and I had a great experience with this company. Jason and his team did an outstanding job painting the exterior of my house in Lincoln, CA. Last year, I was notified by my HOA that I needed to clean and paint the exterior of my house in order to maintain community standards for the neighborhood. This was a challenge for me because I live out of state and my house is rented by tenants. Initially I had no leads for painters so I did a search on Yelp for highly ranked painters in the area and I submitted a request for estimates for the project. Jason and his team rapidly responded to my request and provided me with a fair estimate. He was willing to work with me on the price and I felt that the price was reasonable for the work performed. Overall, Jason and his team went above and beyond what I would expect. Not only did they power wash the entire house a few days before actually painting but they also applied multiple coats of paint to the exterior walls and trim to ensure that the exterior would not need to be painted again for a very long time. Initially, we had challenges with getting the project approved by the HOA because they wanted us to fill out multiple forms requesting approval for the project by the ARB. This required multiple “before” pictures not only of my house but also of “similar” houses in the neighborhood to establish the proper color scheme. In addition, they HOA wanted actual “physical” color samples to be delivered as part of the project approval application. Despite these hassles, Jason was extremely patient and polite throughout the whole process. Jason not only provided all of the artifacts required for the application including “before” and “after” pictures but they also went out of their way to personally deliver color swatches from the paint store to the HOA office. The result was an application that was approved within 2 business days. To sum it up, I was very impressed by the customer service from Straight Edge Painting as they accomplished everything for me despite me not being local to the area. The project was virtually hassle free for me and it came out beautifully. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and I would definitely use them again.
I have had nothing but positive experiences working with the owner, Jason. He is careful to protect my property and goes beyond what is expected every time! He also has good advice on projects. I will always call him first if I need work done!
Jason was amazing to work with and like the other reviews say, his quotes were very fairly priced, even $4-5 thousand less than some other companies. We put our project on a tight timeline and even though the crew were rushed, they did an amazing job. Things to mention are little spots to touch and a bit of debris at certain places in the house I needed to clean up. Jason went through and touched up painting spots at the final walk-through. I feel they completely deserve 5 starts because I’m sure it was difficult to meet our timeline considering the scope of the project, and they worked without much guidance since we were mostly unavailable. Both my mother in law and niece said the crew were polite and friendly whenever they interacted while my husband and I were out of town. I’ve posted pictures of the master bedroom and bathroom but they also painted several other rooms including a two story hallway flawlessly. Definitely will recommend to friends.
We hired Straight Edge Painting to help prepare our home for sale. The owner, Jason, efficiently patched holes in the sheet rock, removed a stubborn wallpaper border and painted high-traffic areas and trim. He even completely covered rooms previously painted purple, green and dark blue in a light, fresh color (as recommended by our real estate agent). Jason was reliable, professional, personable and REASONABLY priced! I cannot recommend his business more highly!
We had Jason come out and give us a quote as he did other houses around the neighborhood. He assisted us in picking out some colors. The Straight Edge Painting crew painted the outside of our house in a very short time frame. My wife and I really admire the way the paint captures the consistent color throughout our home, it adds so much depth and atmosphere. The staff of Straight Edge Painting are polite, competent, very clean, preparation is well done. The painters were thorough and meticulous. We are extremely satisfied with their work. Just an overall great job and very professional people. We cannot express the thanks for turning our home into an art piece in our neighborhood.
Great company, great service, great product, and wonderful people behind this business. Asked for a quote and got Jason out here in a couple days. Wonderful family man, been in the business for a while and he knew his stuff. Received a handful of estimates and this business was the higher priced ones but I will 100% always pay a little more for a much better service and product. After the quote, we booked and their team got out here QUICK. Started prepping the next day. Paint crew was lead by Elijah, also another knowledgeable and easier to get along with fella. This project took only a day and a half and it came out perfect. 1700sq ft home They prepped very well; covered the floor, taped off handles/cameras, removed light fixtures, and power washed the home thoroughly. Paint job looks very high quality, nothing to complain about. Clean up was spotless, Elijah even cleaned the driveway a little. Overall, this is the top service and quality you can buy. If you prefer quality and amazing service, these are the guys you need to hire for your painting project

By fair the most honest and friendly company out there. I messaged multiple companies to get an estimate about painting my entire outside house and Jason was the first one to reply within an hour and come out on the same day (it was a Saturday). Jason explained everything in detail that he said he would do. We did get multiple estimates that were cheaper but decided to go with Jason based on his knowledge and explanation of everything he would do. He was patient with us as we were unsure of the color we wanted. We gave him the colors and got scheduled. He showed up on a Monday at 8am and got right to work. Unlike most companies that rush through jobs he took his time and spent 4 days making sure everything was evenly coated and perfect. If you are looking for a painter who is friendly, explains everything, will show you while working what he does and you want a straight edge house this company is your go to.
Jason gave a more than reasonable offer. Super friendly and easy to talk to. Started the job on time and the finished product is exactly what I was looking for. We replaced old stinky carpet with beautiful new painted stairs. We will be using them in the future for our kitchen cabinets. Definitely would recommend!

We just moved in to an old house that had wallpaper everywhere. Jason and his team came in, removed the wallpaper, re-textured the walls and painted. Everything looks phenomenal. Jason was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The job was done quickly, but was done right. We would definitely use Straight Edge again in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend.
We wanted a licensed painter who had skill, expertise and knew what products would be best when priming and painting the new stucco on our 2 story home. Jason and his crew were exactly what we were looking for. Not only did they prime, paint and caulk our windows and hairline cracks, but they made sure they covered our plants and pool and cleaned up leaving no mess behind. (Wish all contractors were as conscientious). Jason even gave me a tube of caulk and demonstrated how to caulk fine lines. We appreciated Jason's communication and expertise and we highly recommend Straight Edge Painting for all of your needs.

Jason at Straight Edge Painting did a wonderful job painting the inside of our house. We have a unique house that had a few special issues, which Jason handled perfectly. He was on time every day and finished exactly when he said he would. He has great attention to detail and really cares to do a good job. In addition he is very easy to work with and as much as possible tries to minimize the disruption inherent in having entire rooms painted. We hope to have him back soon to do another room in our house.

Stellar service and professionalism! If I could give this company six stars, I would. We hired Straight Edge Painting for a whole house interior paint job, including interior doors and a stair railing, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Right from the beginning Jason, the owner, understood my vision for this project and went out of his way to ensure that our house remained livable (and clean!) while the project was ongoing. Even when I requested a last-minute pivot in paint color, the project was still completed on time while ensuring the highest quality of service. We recently moved to a new house and was in desperate need to get a painter to do a limewash interior finish for my home office. Just finished a 3 day painting project with Jason and his team. Outdoor project was excellent. On time, HIGH quality, and excellent communication before and during the project. Plan to use Jason and his team again. Highly recommend Straightedge painting. We have 2 or 3 more painting projects in the next year. Jason is on our GO TO list of reliable high quality contractors. Wow! I can't say enough good things about this company. Jason and his assistant Austin did a fantastic job painting seven rooms of my house. The original paint in my living room was dark and difficult to cover, but it came out perfect and a creamy white. The work space was left clean each night. Jason was patient and informative about color choices. He made sure I was truly happy with the finished product. Even fixed some trim work that my dog had eaten.

I cannot say enough positive things about working with Jason. When he came to our home to quote painting our kitchen cabinets, he was very thorough in the explanation of his process. As a retired painter’s daughter, he outlined exactly what I expected from whoever we hired. I even appreciated the detail in his contract. His pricing was competitive with the other quotes we got. Now to the job! Jason did amazing work! He kept the workspace all taped off and protected from the rest of the house. He took great pride in his work and kept us updated all along the way. We love the final product! The cabinets are beautiful and the finish is awesome!!
